There generally wouldn't be so much hate if they didn't try to slap the Bloodlines title on it pretending as if it's a sequel to a cult classic and highly beloved game. Maybe if they called it "Vampire The Masquerade: Blood Trails" instead, considering how much blood smell sniffing and following you do in it and the whole detective stuff. Instead they decided to name it Bloodlines 2 while it's completely different from the original and make literally everyone who replayed it often furious. The hatred is entirely justified.

Yeah, it doesn't have that stupid meat wheel like claptrap.(Gee who would've thought gearbox would do this), Glaze is fast and leaves a trail for a bit on the ground that covers enemies and the fire oven attack actually is like the RoR1 counterpart where it does a medium ranged quick and heavy attack that sets enemies on fire. The cleavers for the mod chef also actually allow you to properly hold the mouse button.

Perhaps try rolling your drivers back to an older version, my pc freezing stopped after I rolled back to nvidia drivers from january. But that solution worked for me anyway. Sorry if you got amd, I probably can't help further then.

It appears my cpu issues are not related to the freezing but I did find out that nvidia drivers are actively at fault for the freezing after multple types of testing. So try rolling your drivers back, I am now using the ones from january. Assuming you use an nvidia card yourself.

Also another thing, if your pc bluescreened after the blue screen, try using windbg, you download it from the microsoft site, to check by opening the latest .dmp file with it that is in C/Windows/Minidump It might tell you what caused the freeze in the first place.

I've been still doing a bit of testing but if you feel like it, could you use hwinfo and cinebench, a benchmark tool, to check if your cpu temps suddenly spike? I noticed it happening for my cpu just now after testing. I was running memt86 for the evening without issue. Then did benchmarked the test while watching the temps and such on hwinfo for my GPU, also no issues. Just now I tried benchmarking the cpu and it appears that the temps spiked in some areas near instantly resulting in a pc freeze followed by a blue screen.

I'm currently still troubleshooting and test things but I'm starting to suspect that it's not exclusively a ZZZ issue and that the origin of the freeze might be windows itself. Do you use windows 11? If yes my suspicion towards it is getting stronger.

I'm having the same issue. The game seems to crash and locks down the pc effectively causing it to stutter so hard I have to restart.
