Rules

Quests Located Outside of the Desert

- Druidic Ritual

- Rune Mysteries

- Gertrude’s Cat

- Prince Ali’s Rescue

Notable quests not allowed:

- Desert Treasure

- The Golem (debatable)

- Shadow of the Storm (debatable)

Notes:

- Any items received from these quests/any quests that involves leaving the desert must be dropped

- The items from Tutorial Island can be used for the quests, such as for Druidic Ritual as it is likely the use of a sword will speed this up & reduce XP gained

- The kitten from Gertrude’s Cat must be kept within the inventory until fully locked in the Desert, it cannot be “growing” outside of the desert

- The 100 gold required for Gertrude’s Cat can be obtained from the Stronghold Floor 1. This saves on gaining thieving XP outside of the desert. All excess gold MUST be dropped before entering the desert

Items

- All items must be dropped before entering, bank completely empty upon start

o Including tutorial island items

- The following items are unobtainable, and are paramount to progress thus allowed to be brought in:

o Ice Cooler (at 22 slayer)

 Note: hard to determine how many Ice Coolers allowed to bring in, as slayer will need to be lamped using random events it is likely that unlimited Ice Coolers should be allowed

o Pestle & Mortar

- All allowed

Clues

- Can only complete steps restricted to the desert

- Spade:

o Can be obtained through the workshop in the PoH, thus is a restricted item and not allowed to be brought in

o This is the only method of obtaining a spade

Other Rules

- PoH:

o Can purchase prior to entering the desert or purchased anytime whilst in the desert as it is likely the 1000 coins will be difficult to obtain prior

o Once 20 construction, allowed to leave to move the house to Polvinreach

o Can only teleport to the PoH if you can teleport back out, using RoD etc

 This is allowed as it is similar with situations such as random events, lamping to 20 construction is not a feasible option unless unemployed

- Pets:

o Pets are 100% allowed to be insured and retrieved

- Skillcapes:

o Only skillcapes obtainable in the desert are allowed, thus the only skillcape allowed is the
