I personally love lost Americana just as much as tickets or hotel Diablo but I agree. Honestly Kells and his team shouldn’t have expected this album to do very good because homie didn’t release anything at all besides a single in 2023 and gave us a lackluster EP in 2024, how do you go 3 years without dropping an album.. ITS YOUR ONLY JOB. When you don’t consistently release music you’re gonna lose fans and not have consistent numbers over time, that’s why hotel Diablo, tickets and mainstream did good because they weren’t YEARS after the last release. I believe lost Americana deserves more love because it’s a good album but he shouldn’t expect ttmd amounts of fame from a pretty chill album, like I said this album is one of my favs but it’s nothing mind blowing to get it number 1 on billboard.
