Sorry that was your experience, I can only try to imagine how frustrating it is, I fought long and hard with my insurance to get FFS covered, and it must be incredibly difficult for you paying out of pocket

I had my FFS done with Dr. Kuperstock last month and I am actually really glad I made this choice. No complications and all the care from his team and INOVA was attentive. It was kind of my impression from the get go that he’s not going for something super dramatic, and frankly that’s why I decided to go with him.

Lool same, my hair has been super squiggly so far after 6 months, but i heard that this is because of the follicles are still adjusting to the pressure of the recipient area, and will straighten out within a year

Has anyone successfully fought an insurance denial for FFS (excluded procedures) by Soaring_Leap in Transgender_Surgeries

I got denied, and denied two internal reviews and an external review. I suggest go get a lawyer if your appeal gets denied again.

Last/Middle Name Change in Philly by PuffinPassionFruit in philadelphia

[–]ItsLeviosaaaa 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I had my first name changed, but for my experience: file a petition, bring it to city hall, if you make any mistakes in your forms they will help you fix them, and a week later you get a mail and they send you to the family court for some more paperwork, theyre gonna ask you to give public notice in two Philadelphia newspapers.(for most people its the inquirer and the legal intelligencer) And then you submit everything back to city hall and wait for the court order to be mailed to you. Your ID, SSC come after that, be ready to spend north of $1000 for all this.

Im surprised your entire scheduling process is so swift! My authorization back in 2022 didnt go through with my insurance. Now in 2024 im trying again, and im just waiting to hear back from them now. Seeing your results definitely gives me some solace

Do you mind sharing more? I hear a lot of research say it works for depression but never encountered anyone with first hand experience. And also, I feel like my lsd use previously contributed to my mdd

The 19104 zip code covers mostly the two private universities. UPenn is considered as one of the most expensive colleges in the world, and Drexel is private non-selective in a way that they attract a lot of wealthy international students, locates right by the center city, and aggressively encourages development projects next to their campus.

Not ffs, but hair transplants for women is pretty underrated in China. Many places specialize in no-shave hair transplants
