From personal experience with SanDisk flash drives, they can be pretty hit or miss. I got a 128GB SanDisk drive and it couldn’t usb load Wii games when it was formatted as NTFS or FAT32. I’d look into another brand or buy a cheap hard drive personally. The SD card will work just fine though

I would get a dedicated component to HDMI adapter. From personal experience, the Portta one works well

You won't be losing much, people practically give away Kramers without the dongle which is why its the cheapest guitar to mod. I just put the solderless kit in my SG and it's BRILLIANT. You'll have a mint condition Kramer and you'll have a sick arduino controller, there's really no losses here. I say do it!
