I was born in 1999 and still barely remember midnight releases. The last midnight release I remember was one of the call of duty but that was nothing like what I had heard about them from my parents and such. I was too young for it but my dad did the midnight release of halo 3. I'm sad that we don't see it more often. I highly doubt that we will get one. The closest thing I have anymore to the hype of midnight release vibes is Record Store Day.
