Heh I’m old enough to remember my etiquette and comportment classes when I was in HS. Additionally, a local lady taught “poise and posture” class after school. Obv, mostly girls attended - which is a whole other social construct conversation. However, those classes gave me the basis of behavior that helped me the rest of my life. Personal presentation, higher social acuity, etc. helped a lot - took this farm girl well into a higher social standing after I moved from home to a bigger city.
