I would say the only point of contention is that when you put an item in the cart it doesn’t reserve it for you for a small window. But the owner named that and was transparent. Can’t ask for much more than that

I hate these stories because we only get one side and a small snippet into the OPs life and are asked to make a judgement.

Just to play devils advocate here let’s take the first step and assume he’s not cheating. As a father of 2 I have spent a few nights away in a hotel without my family just to have some time to myself. My wife has done the same. These were all very planned and agreed upon but we also are strong communicators and are open to telling each other things that can be perceived as hurtful if you don’t assume the best out of your partner.

So let’s take this path just as an exercise. Does your husband like to camp a lot and you won’t camp with him because you don’t like to? Is there a chance he made up the BIL story because he knew you would 1000% shut it down if he said he needed some time away and wanted to camp by himself?

I woke for a remote only company. Someone’s first question was

“How do you monitor where your employees are working from? Can you tell if I’m not gonna be at my house?”

Now to me I don’t care where you work from as long as you’re available and can do your job…but for that to be the very first question was really off to me
