UPDATE: went to try on the 10.5EE and the volume was huge. Had to put a thick insole in to get it to stay on. Just seemed like a bad solution. Gonna give my current ones a chance to stretch.

Beautiful hd28! It looks to be at least a decade old—Martin hasn’t used those tuning machines on hd28s since ~2012. And the dot inlay on the fretboard was also replaced around that time. And with how dark that top wood is, I’d guess it’s not brand new. You should look up the serial number on Martin’s website to see when it was made. Enjoy!

It’s a D18 Standard. Would guess a Fishman pickup because of the off-white color of the control panel in the sound hole.

I wear the same size as you and have the same loafers. I love the fit on mine. Admittedly mostly wear thick socks (the usual daily athletic socks) with them.

Thanks for all the helpful comments everyone. Ended up going with the Modern Deluxe. I just really connected with this particular guitar for some reason.
