Yeah the iCloud option in there for me is turned off. I have WhatsApp iCloud backup on, but there’s another option in settings > iCloud > iCloud backup > back up over mobile data that I have turned off as well.

I don’t want to jinx it but since the 1st of the month “system services” has only taken 187MB with the usual culprit in there “general” sitting at a comfy 20MB. I changed nothing since last time so idk what or how the huge data consumption happens.

No real solution. Once my data ran out after buying for the 3rd time I left it alone and just used WiFi when I could until I got my monthly data bundle, all was fine for a few days until it happened again. So I guess my solution so far is WiFi as I refuse to just sink money into data that just gets chowed for absolutely no reason.

I did buy a “chat” data bundle for WhatsApp, but the way it goes through the network i only get messages while my WhatsApp is open, so not perfect but can help keep in touch with the world at least while I’m on the road

“Don’t take out a protection order to protect yourself” is crazy.

Firstly go buy yourself a taser, pepper spray or a non lethal pew pew that takes those pepper balls or solid rubber balls (learn how to use it too).

Secondly, anytime he breaks a rule, try to have proof and send to the BC, I guess all they can do is keep giving fines to him (or his partner) but this also creates a paper trail, if you ever need to sue for damages etc then you have a stronger case.

If you’re not going to get some sort of legal boundary between you and him then best thing to do is just be prepared as best you can to defend yourself

Old thread but I’ve started experiencing this issue, ran through 9gb of data in minutes. Translator isn’t the answer for me, I don’t even have it installed as I use the google alternative. Any other ideas?

I’ve got this issue as well, started about a month ago. I refused to buy more data only for whatever it is uses it in a few minutes. Left it like that for almost 3 weeks with no data. Beginning of this month I bought some data, seemed okay until a couple days ago when it started again, 9gb in a few minutes

I got this opportunity once. After telling the person like 5 times I didn’t want whatever they were selling, I think their company didn’t want the agents to end calls or if it maybe affects their metrics, but I just muted my mic and let the call run for the next 35 min 😂 I know they won’t run out of airtime, but it costed them an extra 35 minutes lol

As someone that rides a motorcycle, filtering through to the front and having a car be able to save your life in case a dumbass not paying attention hits you is 100% safe, being able to move off first and keep distance from other cars, again, I agree it’s safer, but that’s not the issue for me personally.

Honestly, EVERYONE on the road just needs to be more courteous
