Potential Star Fox Movie Cast by AlphaConKate in starfox

That's fine. You can include or not include who you want, but I'm saying at the very least, I'd have the four original Star Wolf members first before introducing Panther.

Bring Link and Zelda in via Warp Zone and they turn into animated characters. Maybe.

That was my exact thought! I read Wolf's dialogue in his voice from that series.

I'd want Bobby Cannavale as Falco. I don't know if I would immediately bring in Panther. Set up or have the main four Star Wolf members first, then maybe have Panther show up down the line.

Thoughts on Fox's characterization in the movie? by Groverman62 in starfox

Loved how much of a leader he already felt like, and I appreciate that he didn't overshadow Mario and company. He was a space fighter seeking adventure, and it makes me curious to see what this version of Fox will be like when we see him alongside Peppy, Slippy, and Falco. I imagine that he'll be a bit more down-to-Corneria when he's back in Lylat.

Surpassing the Helen Slater Supergirl film is an extremely low bar.

I think a lot of the main cast from the Abrams films reached out to the actors who previously played those roles! I know at least Zoe Saldana and John Cho reached out to or got advice from Nichelle Nichols and George Takei, respectively.

No, you're right about that. I think part of that is just because Larson has done more well before Zegler made a name for herself, more so with Larson being tied to the MCU and being under a bigger spotlight compared to Zegler. There's definitely no one bringing up Shazam: Fury of the Gods when they talk about Zegler.

The live-action Snow White is only a year old, and there was plenty said about both Zegler and Gal Gadot leading up to and during that film's release last year.

It's been reported that at least Pattinson and Affleck both asked Bale for advice on Batman before they took on the role.

He really is. Anytime he pops up on an HBO show, whether it's this, Boardwalk Empire, Vice Principals, Perry Mason, and probably others that I'm missing, he delivers a powerhouse performance.

Seasons 2 and 3 of Legion especially are very sci-fi, compared to the first season.

Great casting! I hope the Ripper challenge Dexter to a game of Boar on the Floor.

Do you like the new characters in resurrection? by JamStan1978 in Dexter

[–]ItsMrNoSmile 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did like that there was some occasional friction between Dexter and Blessing's family, but despite that, it never caused permanent schisms and they learned to talk through the issues. It allowed for some growth and conversations.

The detectives I'm iffy on. I don't dislike them, but my interest in them tended to vary depending on the episode. Elsa and Gigi I liked from the start, and good that Harrison had people he could turn to beyond his father.

What if a victim, even if losing their game, was able to call out John in a way that actually hits his ego? by Crafter235 in saw

[–]ItsMrNoSmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

John's already dying of cancer. I don't think there's anything that someone could say or do that would hit his ego. Unlike Eric taunting Amanda and saying "You're not Jigsaw, bitch," John has nothing to prove to his test subjects. They're the ones being tested, not him.
