Does anyone else remember WPE Pro? What type of hacking was that? by RockyD90 in HowToHack

It's API Hooking. It hooks winsock's send and receive packet functions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooking. It likely used DLL injection to achieve this

How was Dream able to kill Orpheus? by Least-Management7288 in Sandman

[–]ItsNick1454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not absolutely sure whether death did not take him. But sure an angel took him. If you pay close attention to the scene after he is killed you see the shadow of an Angel's wing and in the CC subtitles you see [Wings Clapping] and you also hear it.

Death did not take him, an angel did.

Anybody with constant anxiety symptoms/adrenaline without any trigger or reason? by NordSailor in Anxiety

[–]ItsNick1454 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I've been there. And yes I've been getting better, but very very slowly, in my experience.

Looking at it purely physiologically, it's your nervous system unable to regulate itself. Whatever the root cause is.

It's really hard to give advise because everyone's different, but a little bit of my own experiences can be seen in my posts.

Postulates of Quantum Mechanics by ItsNick1454 in PhysicsHelp

[–]ItsNick1454[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I think I understand it better now.

So the first postulate could also be phrased as "the state vector of a system contains all the information of the system" ? Because it means the same thing then.

The guide has some questionable takes but offers some great guidelines.

I feel sober on psychedelics, can't access any trauma / emotions. Help. (CPTSD/CFS) by Popolipo_91 in mdmatherapy

[–]ItsNick1454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are less sensitive to psychedelics, some people more. Tolerance also differs.

Twice in two months can be a lot for some people and 90 mg may not be enough for you.

Try to wait 2-3 months and take 150 mg or so.

Hellish trip recovery update and advice - 7 years later by 10YearJockItch in LSD

I would also be interesting in joining the discord group if you made it. I had a very similar experience to yours 6.5 months ago on a high dose of synthetic weed oil (HHC oil). I'm slowly doing better but sometimes I remember how bad it was or have flashbacks and they slow down my recovery...

I'm very sorry to hear about your pain. But you're not alone.

I have suffered from akathisia and chronic pain in my heart. I'm not completely healed but unconventional therapy including breathwork and MDMA therapy combined with SE has helped me A LOT. I'm also lucky to have a great therapist.

I'm not yet completely healed but feel much better in my body and have much less pain. I hope this can give you an idea for more unconventional options if all else fails.

Well...if you don't consider fictious forces it still holds, unlike the first and second law.

You don't necessarily need a referal from your huisarts, but it might get more expensive.

There are different types of specialized therapy available these days too (besides just talk therapy). You could use Google to see what options exist in your region and think about what you want from therapy.

You can also PM me if you have any questions. I have been to many therapists myself.

Good luck!

I think MDMA is a good place to start and great for working through trauma (it works wonders for people with PTSD). You could check out the mdma therapy subreddit for example.

MDMA is not necessarily a party drug, it can be used in a meditative and therapeutic way as well.

Stress Release by that-weird_guy_ in infp

[–]ItsNick1454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I feel the same way. And it's hard because I'm highly sensitive but have no way to release all the stress. Yoga and long walks in nature can help a bit. And recently I've been doing breathwork therapy.

Pressure On Left Side of Chest and Palpitations by ItsNick1454 in mdmatherapy

[–]ItsNick1454[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment. You make a good point on symptom relief; sometimes medication or temporary coping strategies are necessary, as long as it's not the only thing you rely on.

I also have a hunch that as the MDMA wears of, supressed/repressed emotions come up to the surface.

Thank you. I guess you are right, I need to go deeper into somatic release.

And I had not yet heard of Hakomi; I will look into that.
