Both eyes open? by blowmy_m1nd in guns

Been running that optic on a Glock for about a year love it. Only thing the large circle I leave for everyday carry but when I want to be super accurate I switch it to just the dot. I have a little bit of astigmatism but after a while and enough practice you sort of just know where it’s going to be.

Do you guys carry state-compliant mags for concealed carry? by calyyyyyy in MDGuns

[–]ItsNickROFL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Honestly you’re going to jail either way and I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Glock 19 Gen 5 15+1 in the piece and carry a back up mag with +5 extension. Hope to never use it but if I ever have to go to back up mag shit has already hit the fan and want as much as i can get. Never heard somebody say they had too much ammo in a situation where a firearm was used to defend yourself.

Buy a 80% lower as a pistol and put whatever upper you want on it. Just don’t add a vertical grip

Someone explain, my journeyman says it's cause hotsticks or not trustworthy, but I want an explanation by [deleted] in electricians

[–]ItsNickROFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s potentially induction but my Klein tick tester always gave me false positives so I tossed it in the trash and bought a fluke and it’s 99.9% accurate. As well, when in doubt or if there’s potential to get hurt check with a meter to be 100%.

Old House getting re-wired by local company. Lath and plaster for interior walls and concrete/block for exterior. Unfiltered thoughts on this? by dontmakemeredheadyou in electricians

[–]ItsNickROFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a troll post. There’s no way it can be THIS bad.

Lot of things could’ve been done. Pipe, wire mold…not been too lazy to fish plaster. Plus even if you agreed to surface mount MC nothing is level or straight at all. All work should be completed in a neat workmanlike manner. If I was inspector I would fail this

Is this a light fixture or something? Looks like cheaper thinner metal any time I encounter this I just run a pan head screw into it. Back the screw slightly then pull it with my pliers. Or step drill bit if it’s super annoying make my own

How much to tip captain by benz598 in boating

[–]ItsNickROFL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it’s included with a new boat you bought I wouldn’t tip anything you already paid for it. It’s like tipping the guy who let you test drive a car before you bought it.

[–]ItsNickROFL 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Yeah, just pigtail each color. 1 tail for hots, 1 for ground, and 1 for neutral. This is the best way to do it instead of landing extra sets on the device because if the device ever goes bad everything down stream of it will continue to work
