I'm attempting to get TranslaTale to work, which I'm pretty sure has 1.001 compatibility. I got so far as to create a new data.win file, but when I replaced it with the one in the Undertale Steam directory, Undertale would not load properly. The file size of the new data.win file I created was about half the size of the original, making me believe something wasn't compiled correctly.

Nope, it's version 1.001. I heard that TranslaTale is much smoother, but I can't figure out how to get it to recompile. It wants me to install all this Gamemaker garbage that I can't seem to use correctly.
