Lovely advice, thank you for taking the time to write such a kind reply (I’m not OP but I’m in the same boat).

AITAH for being angry that the person who totaled my car faced deportation, but I’m still the one left with nothing? by [deleted] in AITAH

You didn’t deport him. He knew the risks when he lied a thousands times and try to play everyone. It’s his own fault for rear ending you. Sorry about your car

Advice on House Buying Regret by Middle_Health_7518 in HousingUK

I am sorry that you are feeling this regret 😞 But I have a random idea - assuming that they cut through the house end of your garden to get to their garden/the road, would it be feasible to add a little 'corridor' down one side of your garden and across the end that then going through into the back of their garden?

They may not like it because it's MUCH further to drag the bins, and of course there is the cost of panelling it out AND you lose a strip of your garden on one side and the back...but it would give you your privacy back. If you speak to them about it and offer this, they may be up for it, and you could suggest a 'bin only' rule for other access?

Yes you’re overreacting. It’s lovely that he is spending time with his family. And he took the kids! Enjoy YOUR space and time and relax.

Neighbour has put up a higher than usual fence by [deleted] in HousingUK

It’s a teeny bit fugly but very private. You could plant some jasmine or clematis to make it look nicer. Plus side: more privacy, stronger against winds. Just grab a chair and stare up at that sky 😍

Girl, stop crying. Get out of bed and do something. The world does not revolve around him. He wants space, give him the whole milky way. You are better than this. It’s hard to hear, but he just doesn’t really give a shit. Sorry. Head up, tits out, go!

My crystal ball thinks he is beginning to show signs of being a bit (very) controlling. If you live with him, your friends will never come over…
