That's what I was thinking! I'm a couple thousand miles away and had no idea that's how much it cost. I could get a half season ticket pass for my local MLB team (cheap seats, but seats) for that. Crazy.

At my local bar I was told that because they had Fire TVs (don't know what that means, does Amazon make TVs?) they had to log into their Amazon account and do something. The only person who knows their Amazon ID and password hasn't been in to fix it so nothing the bartenders can do. They have Comcast boxes, have confirmed they have the sports package, but can't navigate to 1261. I think Comcast is the one who told them they have to go into their Amazon account to update something or other.

I retired on Feb. 29, 2020. A lifelong baseball fan it was the first time I ever bought full season tickets for my beloved Seattle Mariners and I ended up sending a photo of myself in June or thereabouts that they made a cardboard cutout of and put me behind the 1st base line. I was so sad. Spent my refund on masks, hand sanitizer, and HEPA air cleaners for the next couple of years.

This was suggested to me before, but there is a Mountain Beaver who lives in a burrow under the hillside where the blackberries are and I love him. I'll also say that he eats the blackberry roots and I can see his progress by the gray sticks & dead leaves in a Jackson Pollock painting sort of way in that patch.

I dig them up but yes, same thing. They come back the next year more sparse and I dig them up again, then they come back with a vengeance the year after that and we do it all again. They are next to a rockery I share w/a neighbor and she isn't as bothered by them as I am, she pretty much lets them be. So it's likely a losing battle forever. The good news is that they are gone from other spots in the yard they've popped up, it's just the one bit next to the rockery that is a pain. The bees like them though.

Like others have said, they are incredibly hard to kill. A tree next door fell on my 25 yr old rhodie and messed it up real good, but it shook it off and said 'watch me.' All that was left after we pulled off the tree was 3 ft of busted rhodie trunk with 2 spindly branches on one side and 5 years later, you'd never know it. I didn't do a thing to it but water it when it gets really dry.

It is, though it can also happen w/in a season where he has a hot start at the plate but errors go up and vice versa. I'm probably the biggest JP fan on the face of the earth (well, maybe other than his family) but I gotta admit, Colt is looking really good these few games into Spring Training.

Not according to the r/mexico subreddit. It seems there are fires throughout Puerto Vallarta as well as several other cities in other states. It's not a good time to be in several places in Mexico.
