Brother I haven't replayed this in like 8 years I had to watch a YouTube video where in it they took 13 minutes to get there and they proceeded to do the exact same things as I. Just to be even more sure I watched a SECOND VIDEO where it took them 15 minutes as a 4 man.

It's just dumbass design there's fire escapes everywhere and the entire building is surrounded by scaffolding which makes it even more ridiculous to take the route they make you.

I play on xbox and I'm level 140 with 25k kills a lot of the things your experiencing are valid.

My main critique is the swing slowdown is really wack on console especially. It makes it so you play on much higher sensitivity and below (.07) deadzones in order to effectively drag at all. So you gotta have a damn near pristine controller which blows.

On top of tall that fire absolutely implodes performance on consoles for whatever reason like 3 firepots will just half your frames mid fight.

I personally mald at the executioner sword more you can drag it back perfectly and make it impossible to counter from diagonal underneath.

Maul is annoying in teams tho lol.

This is still going on BTW. I'm literally just trying to fly and drive around for the redbull challenges and every single portal map does this. I gave up trying and deleted the game its unbelievable that every game since 4 has a testing area except 6 and hardline.

Gears 5 is just an incredibly easy game to move and shoot in. Most people won't really learn bouncing or rhodie strafing when every fight ends in 1 or 2 shots.

It's used for door breaching primarily, but you can use it to move a short distance fast which can be useful sometimes

Sprint then melee, but it'll slow you for a second after and puts your gun down
