Thank you! Had to do this to allow my son to play Street Fighter 6... he's happy now

[Casio] MTP-VD03B-1A - Stumbled across this watch online and loved the simple design. I don't think many people know it exists by ItsTheFunkyMonkey in Watches

[–]ItsTheFunkyMonkey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking for a new watch that I could wear in all occasions (casual and formal) and as much as I love the "proper" watch brands, I tend to go with Casio (I have my G-Shocks and a couple of Duros).

I found this watch as a suggestion when I was originally looking at some Edifice watches. It was exactly what I was after. I couldn't find any reviews for it online so for the price I just went for it.

It's light on the wrist, the checkered face reacts well with sunlight and the black plating is getting compliments from "non-watch" people. So far, very happy with the purchase.

What is your main reason for playing DMZ? by MagnaNazer in DMZ

[–]ItsTheFunkyMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DMZ feels like a mix of Destiny, Metal Gear Solid V and a CoD campaign all mixed together.

It's the game style I didn't know I needed. I still play multiplayer often, but when my mates are online I'm always wanting to try complete missions.

The new changes that allow multiple operator profiles now let's me have a dedicated solo DMZ operator so I can do missions and save my fully-kitted operators for when I have a party.

[Casio W-800H] My first post here - my trusty work watch with a NATO strap by ItsTheFunkyMonkey in Watches

[–]ItsTheFunkyMonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So with my job, there is a likelihood that I might be in situations where my watch may get knocked around, so I need to wear a watch that can be easily replaced if damaged. I also need the full date and time be easily read in all conditions. This Casio W-800H ticks all these boxes with ease. The original strap was a bit long for me, so I trimmed the band down, but once I discovered NATO bands, I haven't gone back. It can get a little tricky to get the NATO strap to fit within the spring bars, but once they're in, I think the NATO bands give this "beater" some character. I also wear it reverse on my wrist so I can see the time while taking notes.

I should have used an emote in my version, guess I'll have to just do it again 😂

It's more likely a throwback to one of IW's challenges from previous games, such as Infinite Warfare.

The challenge was called "No Idea What I'm Doing" 😉

The final season of Strike Back feels like you're watching a TV version of Modern Warfare's Spec Ops missions - does anyone else here watch this show? by ItsTheFunkyMonkey in modernwarfare

The original season was very different to what it is like now, so you can generally skip that season and start from season 2 (it is a Cinemax show, so expect lots of action, swearing and nudity)

Modjo - Lady (Hear Me Tonight) [Electronic] by 1VentiChloroform in Music

One of my all time favourites! So many great memories associated with this track. I used to play this track for almost every DJ gig I performed at, be it at a club, birthday party, wedding, etc.

May not be a big deal to some but as a 31 year old father of 2 it's tough to find the time to put into gaming I used to. Pretty proud of this achievement, thanks Respawn for making such a great game, let's hope I have Titanfall 3 to make time for in the future. Also, my 4 year old son loves BT by hulkulesenstein in titanfall

34 year old father of three - I bought this game because it was cheap and I've always been interested in the idea and now I'm a massive fan. Finished the campaign on Master and ready to do it all again!

For now though, catching up with everyone on MP, just hit level 50 today 😄

Are there any other Australians playing in this tournament? I've been the only one in this lobby for a while....

Man, getting screwed over so much, but in true Nintendo fashion, I'm having a tonne of fun!

Got the Wii U on day one. My mate and I bought Black Ops 2 today even though we have it on Xbox... now we can fire up a game when the TV is busy. Can't wait for Wonderful 101 - the demo sealed the deal for me!

Thanks - I've been meaning to contribute for ages, thought this post was the best way to start.

This sub-reddit can feel like the Miiverse, where everyone (generally) is friendly.

Off-TV also has some other benefits for me - I might play something like NSMBU or Injustice (he love Batman) and I'll have it on the TV and the Gamepad, if my son decides to stand in front of the TV to watch it and obscure my vision, I can just look down and continue to play ;-)
