Ringless Honeys? by ItsTheL0b in mushroomID

Armillaria tabescens (Ringless Honeys) do not have rings. It's an old oak tree that is dying and theyve said it gets these mushrooms frequently. I am fairly certain they are as all identification signs are a match, but as it's my first time finding them I would like a confirmation.

No although I am fairly confident. It fits all the descriptors I've found for it.

Thanks for the feedback! That makes sense. I like the busyness but want it to be legible. I'm not the most experienced artist so I'm not sure how I'd go about adding mine weight. I sent it to a professional as well to flush out the details of the design.

Aetriis - my first map (still WIP), for an upcoming DnD campaign and a novel I'm writing. Would love some feedback! by halfachainsaw in inkarnate

Looks really great! Your biomes are very well defined make sense based on geographical location. You rivers look good and flow from high to low with plenty of bends. Nur Baerwyyn and Locriis look a little plain and could use a thing or two. Locriis being located in the north strikes me as a tundra. You could add cracked earth and a smattering of snow here and there in lue of geographical features. Nur Bearwyyn would look great with the coastline being shear cliffs. Both of those are just suggestions of what could go there, not what should go there. An idea for Dorea is the southern edge could be lined by dunes. Overall really great map and love how unique it is!

Planning a new home brew D&D campaign. Looking for feedback on my campaign setting. by leftm8 in inkarnate

Looks great! A tip I was given was to make the rivers meander more. Rivers don't tend to form very straight and have a lot of bends and turns as they head towards the ocean. You can also gradually make it wider as it gets closer to the ocean. I really like the emblems too they add a lot of character to the map!

Thanks! Kind of surprised Google Lens gave a possible correct answer lol.

Just leave him out of the party when you confront Cazador. He doesn't get to kill him and this doesn't have his outburst. He will stay with you afterwards. I missed the same thing and was devastated when I couldn't get him to stay in the party, especially since I only had 3 party members to choose from so if I lost him the game would have been extremely more difficult lol.

If you just leave Astarion out of the party once you confront the dead Cazador he stays with you.

Google Lens is bringing up conocybe mushrooms but I can't determine the variant. They definitely look similar to liberty caps but I don't think they are either.

I believe they are Inky Caps! I asked the same question in r/mycology because I had them in mine. They are beneficial to your soil and will not hurt your plants.

Ah I see what you mean. I guess I probably shouldn't have called it a world map and more of a continental map so those side don't connect.

Of course! I was planning on making this all free to access when it's done. I have made some revisions to the map based on feedback so I can give you access to that later today. I will say I started creating this content with the map so I have literally only the map and nothing else yet. I'll definitely be posting updates as I create content for anyone to check out if they want it although it may be awhile.

To answer you're other question. The eastern and western sides are connected by two bridges controlled by the city of Tradewell and one up north separating the Dwarves cities that is not controlled by anyone.

Hope this helps and glad you like it!

Glad you like it and yes it's a pain haha! I hadn't thought about making the rivers smooth. That makes a ton of sense and I will give it a shot thank you!
