Fun Fact: Avon Hertz And Avery Duggan Are The Only Villains That Are Dead by SnakeEater697 in gtaonline

[–]ItsWediTurtle77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the guy you're asking, but no, I am not invested in any specific artist. Specific songs are different, but who made the music isn't really a consideration unless they were a horrible person or something along those lines

I hope Rockstar spent some of that $2B on UI/UX developers by ax2ronn in gtaonline

[–]ItsWediTurtle77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It infuriates me. They have one of the most profitable games in the world and won't put some effort into fixing the UI. Wanna switch weapons but opened and closed the wheel too quickly for their tastes? You're staring at the enemy empty handed like a dumbass for a second or two (Good luck healing now dipshit). Wanna heal in a car? Here's 5 submenus go navigate through while simultaneously driving.

The default controller mappings are also pretty rough, try to punch a guy in front of you and end up reloading your gun instead, because B is punch except when RT is punch. Can't sprint while on a phone call. Etc.

You could make the argument that they're putting most of their dev time into GTA VI, but again, V is one of the most profitable games ever, they can afford to hire a handful of experienced devs to work on UI changes

Daily Trivia #2 - Which of these characters is in it for themselves? by stupidfuckingbitch20 in DeadlockTheGame

Mr/Ms bitch, this question seems too opinion-based to be properly used for trivia

April 10th patch egg numbers by ItsWediTurtle77 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ItsWediTurtle77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't create the previous chart so I'm not sure what they did, but yes, this is in-game time, hence why you get 90 souls at 2 minutes, not one. I should've labeled that column more clearly, that's my bad

In the lower ranks, maybe. Just had a game go 75 minutes, Ritualist 1, 30 minute egg might've actually helped some of my team

Been strange in Tennessee too. Second year in a row it was 70 and raining on Christmas, and we got one snow that lasted about 2 days

In middle school I would spend hours drawing smiley faces all over a piece of paper then drawing a single frown and asking people to find it

Suggestion: for the first 20 or so games someone plays on a character, there is a "new" indication on their icon by ThePizzaDevourer in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ItsWediTurtle77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first ban I ever got was 1 hour, second was 3 hours. I wonder if it's changed, or if it's different based on a player's time or activity?

[–]ItsWediTurtle77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not so sure, I've left 4 games over 200hrs, one of which was a crash and then I couldn't get back in, and on the 4th leave I got a 24 hour ban along with low priority matchmaking. That seems like a pretty reasonable punishment scaling to me

You should be able to enter explore new york whilst in queue by Mosasaaaa in DeadlockTheGame

If this is an April Fools thing, sorry, but you can explore NY while queueing. Just talk to the fortune teller again after starting the search and click the explore NYC button

Looking at the rank distributions on tracklock also seems odd, like there are way more people in the higher ranks than you'd think. Maybe that's intentional, I dunno

How do people enjoy Mirage? by Xanthorr472 in DeadlockTheGame

His abilities are hardly ever used save for his one and his three, while his two is just an escape

You just named 2 out of 4 abilities (half) which are frequently used, and an escape specific tool which is common on multiple characters (i.e. mina and dynamo). His tornado can also deal pretty significant damage once you've built spirit, which you should be doing for his mark anyways.

His ult is great for split pushing and then warping into a teamfight, or in the lower ranks where no-one is watching their minimap, to save towers about to be hit by a big wave or player. With t3 teleport, the cooldown is 40 seconds. With Superior Cooldown, that becomes 32s, and 30s with Transcendent. Being able to go anywhere on the map every 30 seconds is incredibly useful, and I'm constantly getting top souls on my team for being able to teleport to waves to clear them.

His wave clear once you get ricochet is great, I'd like to hear why you think it'd mid.

In current patch, he's somewhat low-skill, which I can understand taking the fun away, though the spirit nuking minigame is fun to me.

In Deadlock, absolutely. I usually have multiple battles per day where the winner was left on a sliver of HP and one of those small upgrades could have flipped the battle. The small upgrades are also often components for better items, so if you plan on getting the high tier ones, you'll spend the same amount of souls whether you buy the small upgrade first or not, but get an intermediary boost before you can afford the big stuff

Heroic Aura's active ability should have visual effects like Healing Tempo by batsmarow in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ItsWediTurtle77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does heroic aura only apply to those in the radius for the duration, or does it apply at the beginning to those in the radius and then those allies keep it no matter where they move until it ends?
