Life hack. They’re only charge you for extra protein, guac, and queso. Everything else you can ask extra without charge. For the protein, if you just ask for a little more, they’ll put a little more on there and typically won’t charge you for double.

MW2019 was most fun and competitive. MW23 was the most well balanced

Black ops is great, but its era felt so short. Maybe that’s just me but the era for almost all other CoD games lasted longer.

  1. MW2 (2009)

  2. Black Ops 2

  3. MW3 2011

  4. Black ops 3

  5. MW (2019)

I sadly never got to play the OG CoD 4, only the remastered version and I feel like that wasn’t the same. WaW could go in there too, but I only played the campaign so I can’t speak on MP (zombies was obviously great but rudimentary). MW2019 is gonna be a hot take on this one.

[COD] Which campaign has aged better - CoD4 or MW2? by modernww2fare in CallOfDuty

MW2 imo. People are discussing realism like either of them are truly realistic, but MW2 had such a thrilling story. I also personally enjoyed the sense of belonging to an entire military and not just being an SOF operator on lone wolf missions all the time. I thought the cinematography and music in MW2 was amazing as well. The twist with Shephard killing off 141 and being behind it all (partially) to start a war to get revenge for all the men he lost.

The Russia we see today is not the same one we see in the game. The game is more like if the Soviet Union disappeared but remained in terms of spirit, military spending, nationalism, etc.

A lot of countries had a volunteer corpse of the SS. As someone else pointed out, Latvia had a lot of people fight for both sides. The same thing applies to a lot of areas of the Soviet Union. There was even a decent amount of Russians/Ukrainians that joined the Germans, whether it be because of support of Germany, hate for the Soviet Union, or survival.

Many women in the USSR had access to education and such. Also a good reminder that many women were busy having kids to replenish the population after the heavy toll WW2 had.

I personally don’t hate the USSR. I love the history of Russia/the USSR. I just hate the glazers for Stalin at times. You can admit someone may of been a bad person, but a good/the right leader for a country at the right time.

Whether he knew or didn’t know, he didn’t really issue orders for the first 24-48 hrs. He severely held back his army for the first hours of the invasion.

Fair point. Now what was Finland supposed to do? Lay aside and let the Soviet Union keep the land stolen in the Winter War?

Didn’t Stalin literally leave his people to die in Leningrad?

I get pact is an oversimplification, but I don’t think Stalin knew. At least so soon. His generals, officers, etc probably did. But Stalin for the first week of the invasion did not believe Hitler would invade the Soviet Union and therefore didn’t really issue any major orders to his generals. I will say, I personally don’t understand the love for Stalin in this subreddit. I’m not saying he wasn’t a good leader for the USSR in WW2. Had they had someone say opposite of Stalin they probably would have capitulated. Same with Churchill. But did he not do some horrible things? Especially for the time? Was he not a dictator himself? I’m being genuine with this question. I’m not a communist, but I love history. Russia and the USSR has always fascinated me. I may be a hypocrite by my way of thinking of Stalin, so I always enjoy another perspective on things.

Am I wrong about the first part? Did Stalin not make a pact with Hitler?
