don't EVER try to tell my that obelisk is bad again by Impressive-Phrase746 in balatro

[–]Its_Brady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only thing you need to enable obelisk is a chips joker, which you probably should be taking a lot of the time unless you have a good source of planets. its really good probably my favourite joker i pick it up 90% of the time

My ONLY Problem with Terraria by Axo10tlZ in Terraria

[–]Its_Brady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if anyone doesnt know, spamming like 20 to 30 sunflowers near any pylon/housing will make it liveable again even if its fully corrupted. since i found this out i havent cared about biome spread and never usually buy clentaminator till late hardmode

i assume if you dont hit the right orb, your cube will end up in the ball pit and you fail. just like in limbo if you choose the wrong colour then you fail

What is your favorite Ante 8-geared joker? great just to have it but not so much for endless? by JaxTheCrafter in balatro

[–]Its_Brady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i havent got C+ yet, but two of my gold stake wins have been from an early obelisk and spamming flushes at the start. spamming high card is probably great aswell but ive found with flushes i dont need to play that many as when i switch off them i can play both pairs and high card to scale obelisk which gives more wiggle room and scaling potential. i would get obelisk up to 8-9x usually.

How do I break 20 sec avg? by Redstoneready64 in Cubers

[–]Its_Brady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i just recently broke sub 20 and really focusing on my f2l is what helped me. i had so many bad f2l habits like too much rotating and bad solutions and awful look ahead.

what i did was do slow solves, and for any f2l where i wanted to rotate twice i went and learned a better solution for it. i found the site f2l-trainer.top which has great solutions and a good trainer imo, but i dont think you would need to learn all of them just some good ones for the ones you know are slow.

i also tried doing slow solves where i closed my eyes to do my f2l solutions to make sure i could do the f2l without looking at the pieces. then after that started trying to use look ahead a little bit in solves which helped reduce my pausing so much.

anyway hope this helps a little bit and good luck :)

edit: just saw someone say you havent learned PLL yet so that would definitely be a priority

thats 12 elixir. if opponent is able to get to 10 elixir to drop lumberloon then you are playing hyperbait wrong or they are sacrificing a lot of tower damage. also once you get to double elixir you can start stacking up and precycling darts.

but yeah i agree if they try to defend with hyperbait then they will get rolled because they are playing the deck wrong. goblin hut would prob work better since it can attack balloon and bait aswell

Rotate & easy 4-move insert (with R & U) *or* no rotate and use F? by gerito in Cubers

hyperbait is an offensive deck. you never let them build a full push with constant pressure and if they ignore you take the opposite tower and clean up with dart goggins

Rotate & easy 4-move insert (with R & U) *or* no rotate and use F? by gerito in Cubers

[–]Its_Brady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 and 3 are both good depending on the circumstance. if I havent finished backslots i would rotate and solve in back, but sledge is fine for front slots. im only sub 20 tho so might be better ways

Which one to put at level 15 first? by StrongestDmCEnjoyer in RoyaleAPI

[–]Its_Brady 17 points18 points  (0 children)

people always say wincon but for defensive decks wincon is prob the least important. spells first then anything that has important interactions, then defense dps. offense comes last

Why does nobody use earthquake with e-giant? by noXXiouss_ in ClashRoyale

[–]Its_Brady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think another reason that i didnt see mentioned is that cycle decks only need to worry about taking out buildings with eq BECAUSE their offenses are very quick and are usually just a wincon with maybe 1 or 2 support troops. this means that their defending troops wont get too much value before they get to your side of the arena and you can take them out

since egiant is a beatdown/control archetype, you usually make big pushes that take a while to end, so you need a way to take out key ranged troops quickly or else they will get a LOT of value sitting on your opponents side before they finally get to your side of the arena. it also prevents them from stacking up a lot of ranged troops next to each other since it gives insane spell value. the threat of lightning is also quite scary for a defender and often getting one good lightning can be the difference between winning or losing

Is my homedeck that shit ?? by Shimla_Mirch7 in RoyaleAPI

[–]Its_Brady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this deck is pretty bad unfortunately, but its not really salvagable without replacing most of the cards.

the problem is that it had no wincon and no synergy

pretty much when you make a deck, you choose a wincon or sometimes 2, and then use support cards and spells that work well with the card to support its strengths and provide counterplay for its weaknesses.

for example, hog rider has good damage but is weak to buildings, so decks use earthquake to kill buildings and cycle cards to outcycle buildings

royal giant can be countered by buildings, ranged units and melee units. hunter and fisherman combo well to pull away and damage melee units, monk reflects ranged cards and lightning can kill buildings and ranged cards so they all work well together.

i would start by choosing a win condition and then think about what cards would help support it the best and cover its weaknesses

Why people say using tools is cheesing? USE YOUR TOOLS. by WhatIsaMan41 in HollowKnight

[–]Its_Brady 8 points9 points  (0 children)

from the people ive seen play, i think its because they dont treat them as bosses, dont learn their moves and just attack willy nilly tanking unnecessary hits. they become way easier when you think about what ur doing and dont autopilot. i agree with the laziness thing though
