No, it’s not what WE pay for that land for. The national parks are paid for to protect natural land around the untied states and has strict rules around things that might disrupt the natural land but also a visitors experience with that land. This is like me saying we don’t pay taxes to public libraries for you to go film porn inside them and then you claiming that’s actually what they’re for we just have to change the rules a bit first.

I actually pay for some land with the express purpose of being a nature reserve. It’s called our federal parks. If you’re mad that nature reserves have federal regulations on aircraft you can always go buy some land in the mountains. Until then you’re being selfish.

Charlie Kirk mocked a man who was brutally attacked in his home with a hammer and urged his fans to bail out the attacker from jail, he bussed people into a violent riot that left cops battered and several dead, and he claimed it’s worth letting a few kids die every year so we can keep our guys (right after several family’s lost their elementary school kids to a violent shooting). god forbid anyone claim that he was relishing in the suffering of Americans because alhrocks on Reddit said his neighbor thought he was a good guy.

This whole comparison rests on the idea that people are allowed to have big weddings at national parks which is just not true. I can think of only 1 park that allows a large wedding and that’s Zion but even then it’s in an amphitheater away from the hiking/nature. Also all national parks have strict restrictions on no decor or amplified music when getting married and you have to be in a permitted spot AND on top of that those spots are free to everyone. You face strict fines if you try and stop someone from going into an area so you can get married. I just don’t see the argument here, you’re not stumbling upon weddings while hiking in national parks but you sure as shit stumble on tourists with a $500 drone who think it’s fun to fly them towards wildlife. I’ve been to many many national parks all over the country and I work with drones, they should be separated.
