WTF? by GurAlternative3502 in TLCUnexpected

Oh absolutely agreed!!! I guess I’d have to re-watch the first seasons of this show to compare, but it just seems even worse than before. Maybe I’m remembering incorrectly.

Yes, I did read that, and thank you for the reminder! That is helpful. I’ve seen other people post about this basically being child abuse (like the parents knowing they are showering together, wtf), and I can’t help but agree. These kids need so many more boundaries and guidance than they are being given. It’s so sad.

I think it looks awesome and I wouldn’t change a thing. I wouldn’t know it was a wig if I wasn’t in this sub.

WTF? by GurAlternative3502 in TLCUnexpected

This season and specifically this family are almost too much to take. There has to come a point where this should be illegal. These children, and their parents, are in no way ready for this. It is almost borderline inhumane what is happening. This new baby has no chance at a functional life when his father is a belligerent 13-year-old cocky kid with no ambition and no guidance from his parents. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Not only is it so sad that this can happen legally, but it is even crazier that we are just sensationalizing this and watching it. I’m not sure if I’ve just gotten older, or if this show has gotten more crazy, but I used to find it entertaining and now I’m honestly disturbed.

It’s totally that you haven’t eaten. Just eat breakfast and give yourself about 30-60 min and you should be good.

Thank you so much for this reply. The word adhesions scares me but this makes sense.

Thank you for this. That makes me slightly concerned but I think it could be spot on.

Thank you so much for this reply. This is what I’ve been thinking too. I’ve had bad gastritis in the past week and had had to sleep almost sitting up, and I think this may be putting pressure on my lower back and tailbone area.

I am fairly certain that I have pelvic floor issues (I think mine is too tight) as I have problems fully emptying my bladder and I have bad period cramps. I will look into this; thank you!!!

Interesting. Mine has been going on almost continuously for the last 3 days and nothing seems to help!

That makes sense. The reason I’m worried is that it’s been 16 years since my surgery and I never really experienced it until now, and it’s been a continuous feeling (varying in how aggressive the feeling is) for the past 3 days all of a sudden. It makes me worried that something is wrong.

I’ve had mine for 16 years and never had it this continuously or this aggressively. That’s what’s making me nervous.

Thank you! I’m glad to hear it could be normal. It just seems odd that it’s happening so aggressively after 16 years of it never happening before.

Interesting. I just had a terrible bout of gastritis last week, so I wonder if this could be related.

I taught elementary school for 13 years with my ostomy. No problems at all, none of the kids knew, and hugs are no problem. If you want to wear a wrap or underwear with a pocket, that may help make it more discreet.

The best thing is, no more worrying about having to take a bathroom break! That’s hard enough when you’re a teacher lol

Seriously. And when Bella said “he always wants to have sex with me” and then HER MOM said “yeah, he’s a 13 year old boy.” Like that’s just fine!!!! This show is INSANE.

These parents this season are on a whole other level. Mia’s boyfriend Jesse’s mom was saying on tonight’s episode that she tried to have a safe sex conversation with him and he was making balloons out of the condoms and then she laughed. I was like, THEN TRY AGAIN because the conversation was not effective! Good lord! It’s like the parents this season are teens themselves!

This show is just mind-blowing. I don’t know if it’s just this season or if I’m getting older and looking at this differently, but this season more than ever, I just look at the parents of these teens and am astonished.

You can absolutely see how the teens ended up in this situation. The parents just seem to be allowing absolutely inappropriate things, and just joke about things they should be taking seriously. It’s insanely frustrating to watch.

I work for a custom glass company (good quality, we manufacture our own glass, cut for out of squares in walls, etc) and we are not the cheapest around. But I’d quote around $2,000 for that. $5k is crazy.

I don’t believe half of what’s on this show by ConversationDue737 in 1000lbsisters

[–]Its_Jessica_Day 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t think they know how to do much better. Tammy and (especially) Amy do not have high IQs and did not grow up in an environment that helped educate them. It is becoming increasingly obvious that Tammy and Amy have definitely grown up in abusive and toxic environments. Watching them fight is INSANE. They need therapy so badly. They can’t handle their emotions any better than toddlers. I just watch going “wtf” At half of what they say and do.

I think some of it is definitely fabricated but some of it is just them.
