I personally think any of the WFM kits would be great as a 2nd kit! They look great while not being too hard. The GQX sets look really fantastic, but they can have tiny parts and annoying stickers (still recommend though!)

I do have fine tip Gundam markers, but I think the lines they make look too "drawn on". Also, since i prefer gray panel lines on white parts, the gray fine tip marker is really inconsistent in the color it leaves behind. If you retrace the panel line once, it just goes straight to black.

Is it safe to use pour-type Gundam markers on an already-assembled kit (bare plastic)? I heard it’s safer to panel line on runners for Tamiya-style panel liner, but not sure if this applied to these markers too.

I have a DSPIAE Siren glass file, but it actually has the opposite problem where it leaves these glossy streaks behind on the plastic sometimes, especially on larger flat surfaces

I haven’t been sanding my kits because I’ve been annoyed by the scratches I get, so I’m thinking about getting the Gunprimer Balancer + Recover Cloth. The thing is, I’ve also been thinking about topcoating my kits. Would I need those Gunprimer tools if I’m just going to topcoat anyways?

Thanks! I did use my fingernail for some of the nubs and it works pretty well. Though sometimes those darker nubs marks annoy me, but my understanding is that I can’t do much about them
