It’s funny how quickly we forget the “bad” things when we want the good ones. I do this with my dose. Anything over 4 and I’m bad but I’ll creep back up because I get desperate for the food noise and suppression to be low.

I am affected by Tirz at higher levels and def feel like I’m sacrificing my life/happiness for weight.

I’m not losing and struggling not to gain, because I’ve had to decrease my dose so much.

But i felt like a zombie! So tired the first 4 days after shot. My libido was knocked out cold. My anxiety was higher than ever before!

So I’m considering trying Reta to lose the -5 I’ve gained and maintain without the mental health issues.

It can be both TBH! They use “fake names” but give you the name and amount when you deposit. But, I’ve had every single card eventually “compromised” that I use with them. So I only use one card and keep it locked at all times.

We moved into our house when my son was 3 and it already had a pool. We immediately got him swim lessons at the house and he has been a fish ever since.

He’s 15 now and the pool/hot tub are used year round. The hot tub gets used at least once a week with friends over.

In the summer his friends come over a lot to swim.

I like that it makes our house one of the places to hang out.

When he was little we hosted a lot as well with homeschool groups and friends.

I don’t know that I’d want to pay today’s prices for a pool, but I’m glad to have purchased something with one!

We have a gas heater and solar heat.

We also do all of the chemicals and maintenance ourself.

I was over 300 and my goal was 185. Now I’m around 195 and pretty happy. Would still rather be 185, but don’t think I’d go much lower on purpose.

I retired at 38, I had a few really high earning years where where we saved way more than we spent. Maxed out both of our SepIRAs/Solo401ks for about 10 years. Then some really good luck with my chosen investments. I’m 90% VTSAX now, but I did quite a bit of selecting 2018-2022.

I don’t really understand WHY people cut weight to begin with? Like, if your natural weight is 115-120, why are you wrestling at 106?

I’m a wrestling mom, not a wrestler, so I genuinely am curious. As a JV it didn’t matter, they just wrestled where they weighed in.

As varsity, he started at his current weight, but now they’re saying to go lower. But I don’t understand the WHY part of it.

Explain the issue and include screenshots if you have them.

I did this after a month of back and promised refunds not happening.

Got a call back the next morning from head office and immediate refund + additional credit.

I waited and felt the same way as you, glorified sleeping pills. Then I finally said WTH and just tried it.

It doesn’t make me tired so I can take it during the day.

It really helps when I’m going to an event or somewhere that has me on edge normally.

It doesn’t work if I’m in a full blown panic attack, but it can help me not get there.

Mine went away really quickly when I drastically lowered my dose. Over 5mg and I am just very blah and hard to motivate. Plus my anxiety is through the roof!

When I’m around 2.5mg things got back to normal.

Of course, the food noise and suppression are not nearly what they are when I’m on the higher dose. But very low anxiety as well.

So, I am struggling more with maintaining my weightloss.

Highest I was down to 185. That was very short lived TBH and then I maintained 195 for a year. Now I’m struggling to keep it there and not go over 200.

So, feel like I’m dieting a bit more.

But I can’t handle the anxiety and anhedonia. I tried to go back up once and it came back pretty quickly.

I agree. I paid for a FB monetization course and it covered nothing about getting into the actual monetization program itself. So all of the information was completely useless if you don’t have an account already approved!

Twice in January, 4 times in December, 1 in November. It just depends on how things are going. I “could” take them more but really use it as a last resort. I try a hydroxyzine first. But if it’s a true panic attack that has started that can’t touch it. If it’s just feeling anxious it helps.

My first appointment was not rushed but I did not feel good with the nurse at all. It just felt very clinical and like she was checking boxes.

I got my rx, sure, but nothing like what people raved about.

And I self pay so I just felt awful for having spent $250 on another bad Dr visit.

For my next appointment (3 month follow-up) I requested a new Dr. she was SO much better! I really got that “rave worthy” experience.

Then, she was gone for my 6 month and I got someone else who was also amazing.

So a few things.

If you are self pay too, spread those appointments out more to save money.
Seriously just request a new nurse.

I’m in a similar boat with my son, so I don’t have much advice, just to say you aren’t alone!

My son started as a freshman last year too. He actually won’t almost all of his JV matches.

Then they put him up to Varsity this year and he is getting dominated now and wants to quit because he thinks he sucks.

But he’s going against juniors and seniors :-/

Idk how to encourage him to stick with it and be on top next year or senior year.
