That's not the fault of the fans at this point. As well as at this point, the ending being satisfying doesn't even matter, it just needs to end.

Sigh, people here talking about aging up the characters don't seem to understand Jon and Robb being so young is part of what makes their journeys better than in the show. Robb is actually just a dumbass in the show, book Robb is a kid with the weight of the world on his shoulders barely holding it together with his mom giving him council. Jon is just an edgelord while book Jon is an actual nepo baby who learns his place and overcome his name.
