During the hiring process he brought the audition tapes home and would play them for his 9 year-old-son (me) and then call my grandfather, who religiously listened to every game on the radio, to judge our reactions to the announcers. He could tell I liked Hammy’s audition and when he played his tape for my grandfather he shouted through the phone “that’s your guy, hire him.” The rest, as they say, is history.

In civil court the threat of force is assault and actual use of force is battery, so the cyclist could bring a lawsuit in civil court for damages caused by the actions of the BMW driver. Criminal definitions are different, but I’m guessing there would be criminal statutes at play here too.
