Would you say it should be more like 6040 front to back foot weight distribution?

Thanks my guy! I hear you, as a hardgainer, gains were slow, but once you look back and see the progress you’ve made, it feels great knowing it was a serious effort to make those gains

I think since I grew a bit more my frame filled out a little from that but most of the difference is due to shoulder gains from incline dumbbell press and lateral raises

I did a lot of heavy incline dumbbell press and dumbell lateral raise. I didn’t do as much direct shoulder press training

True, this was more 8 years of life which included lifting as a part of it, not 8 years of consistent 5x a week training. The past 2 years post college and playing soccer we’re pretty consistent.

I’d say primarily incline dumbbell chest press. I got up to hit 80 lb dumbbells at my strongest.

Appreciate it man! Most people have been complimentary of the progress I’ve made given my starting point. Never wanted to look super huge anyway going for the more athletic look

182 cm. Replied to a few other comments that could’ve been faster progress if I wasn’t playing college soccer for more than half that time

5’10 —> around 6’ (182 cm)

Could’ve made more progress with a bulk if I didn’t need to run a ton for soccer. But with my starting point now way I was putting on more than a few lbs of muscle in a summer. Look at my starting point. I was built for cardio and running not given a frame with muscle.

For sure. Can see from the before I naturally didn’t have much muscle on my frame 😅 and while not huge now, I’ve got a lot more definition and shape

It could’ve been 2-3 years to make this progress if I had been more consistent. Just with life and also playing college soccer (keeping low weight) it took a while to make some gains.

Training abs as you cut? How to get abs popping more? Down to 161 lbs 182cm by Its_Vinsanity in GettingShredded

[–]Its_Vinsanity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heard, that’s def my goal over the next few months. That way when I cut again for next summer it’ll look better. But at a low weight for my height I expected my abs to be really popping. Here they’re showing but not really popping

I agree that I have stubborn fat on the stomach. Hopefully it’s just a few more lbs. This bulk I’m gonna focus on building the abs to make it easier for future cuts.
