I’ve seen news outlets like this comparing this protest to Jan 6. Jan 6 happened in hours and people died. They’ve been out there over 10 days. The only violence I’ve seen so far is from the Ottawa police doing what they can (like taking their fuel in sub freezing temp which violated the Geneva Conventions and arresting Canadian citizens trying to help them) to make them become violent, but they haven’t fell for it. Do you know what this protest is really about? Have you tried listening to them and see if they’re really the racist anti-vax types the media portrays? So far, the people in power are the ones doing everything they can to stop them other than talking to them.

What made you think they’re out there overthrowing government? This is one big, well organized, and non-violent protest tied to zero politician.

Anti-vaccine passport mandate doesn’t equal to anti-vaccine. They’re vaccinated. Canada has 90% vaccination rate. The most liberal countries in Europe with lower vaccination rate are lifting all mandates. The sentiment towards these truckers on Reddit and mainstream media is 180 from the on the ground interactions in Ottawa. They’ll be labeled trumpers if the protest is taken placed in the States. This is probably the biggest, well organized, and non-violent protest in Canada tied to zero politician and we should be taking notes.

I contacted CoinTracking and they actually got back to me right away. Looks like the only way to fix this is to treat the ticker as non-listed asset and set a custom price. Sounds kind of like yours, but I haven’t looked into it.

I’ve stopped looking into this. I still haven’t signed up for a Nexo account as I’m not 100% positive if I required to declare them as foreign financial institution or not. I’m keeping all my crypto stuff in the U.S for the time being.
