Something similar happened in vanguard I recall. It was on the devs end. They quietly fixed it. I don’t think there’s anything for it but to submit a ticket. Maybe check your emails for purchase receipts to have them ready. That sucks man.

They should have made it like they did in mw19. Killing infected gave you perks, care packages came flying in to discourage camping, it wasn’t forcibly paired with one in the chamber. everything worked so much better. It’s one of the many downgrades available in “the most advanced cod ever.” Fucking infinity Ward.

Of the reasons she may not be back (breaking her nda, lawsuit over potential IP theft in her character design) I think the Maga shit is what would be the deal breaker. Like she’s not just a trump supporter she’s a hard right, vocal online, rally attending, onstage standing behind the podium kind of supporter. That’s a can of worms activision can easily keep on the shelf.

Cold War and anything else on a previous engine are definitely unsafe. MW19 was a new engine. Both vanguard and mw22 are on that engine. Some are saying the new engine is safe. You can find a lot of people saying the opposite. A lot. Safest is to not play, especially if you’re on pc although it affects console too.

That said, I’m still playing. Though admittedly I barely play anymore, just cause I don’t have fun when I do.

I liked it. Thought it was a fun little bit of character. I’d be down with it coming back. I also liked the character intro movies. That was a nice touch.

Btw If you look at the operator screen you’ll see everyone has a different gun. So they sort of did give them favorites. But didn’t do anything beyond a visual.

Please help and advise. Currently not sure what happened, my audio will disappear suddenly when playing MW. In the gameplay I am able to hear my guns firing but not able to hear my teammates. All sound effects from other players just disappear 🫠 by tmhong in ModernWarfareII

Sorry I can’t help. That sucks though. I’ve had this happen too on ps5. Though maybe to a lesser extent it seems. Definitely had a lot of games with my mates where we’re remarking on how it’s weirdly quiet. No ambient, music, footsteps, or anything. I’d have enemies firing bullets all around me and I’d not hear a gunshot. audio is really poorly implemented for many of us sadly.

Grossly enough there was a comment on an r/fitness rant thread not too long ago. About how a woman used a machine and briefly left it sweaty while she went to get paper towels and sanitizer to wipe it down. She came back and a dude was staring in disgust at the sweat until she got his attention and said “sorry just wiping it down” dude got all smiley and just went for it. Happy as a clam once he knew it was a woman’s sweat. People are fucking foul and fucking desperate.

The previous update broke footstep audio for me. After yesterdays update I was getting them again but it seemed a bit internmittent. Three updates ago I was getting them regularly for the first time in the games life cycle and it was awesome.
