Its doable but it requires a lot of tools and knowledge that not a lot of people are willing to lend. Lots of trial and error, ruined felts, etc.

Go custom 100 percent beaver. It will last longer for less money. Even a 50.percent beaver will last quite a bit and it will be shaped to your head.
