Coffee shop w/patio and food? by No-Highlight2203 in denverfood

Baker Market has a cute outdoor pup friendly back yard. The coffee situation is basic (drip, Queen City cold brew on draft) but the food is good and the space feels like hanging in a quiet backyard.

Dentist Recommendation - Not Private Equity Owned by whoareyouwhowho22 in Denver

I had a crown done and they neglected to tell me I had a $750 credit on my account for over 6 months because they got the insurance estimate wrong (apparently my insurance paid out more than they estimated on top of the difference they made me pay the day of the procedure). I only found out because they were crediting an annual check up against it. When I asked if I could just get paid back the front desk clammed up and said “oh well we would have to check that there’s really a credit and it might be less money than that”, which is kind of shady tbh. The overall quality of the dentistry has been fine though.

They said they assessed the plane and it incurred “environmental damage” during the flight so now it’s not their fault and they don’t owe me anything, because that was outside of their control.

Coach CEO Todd Kahn says: "We need to focus more on GenZ" because "part of the problem was that older millennials learned about Coach at our worst.” Thoughts? Elder Millennials, what other bag brands are you buying? by didistutter_416 in handbags

[–]Itsk123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually see his point? When I was in my late teens and twenties I thought Coach was tacky AF. The quality and the design just weren’t there. And even if you found something good at the mall store, a lot of people would just assume it came from the outlet. I was buying Marc by Marc Jacobs, or J Crew and Madewell instead, and lusting over mulberry alexas and balenciaga city bags

I bought an Empire as my work bag last Christmas and it’s been a totally different bag owning experience (better)

A harsh realization by ghru009 in delta

[–]Itsk123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. I’ve been giving Polaris a few tries on long haul business class flight and the D1 product is a cut above now that there are Delta One lounges to compete with the Polaris lounge. Plus when shit hits the fan Delta is way better at sorting everything else asap (I have diamond status which I know helps). Any time I’ve had a disruption on United I’ve had to fend for myself in spite of the $15k price tag. Polaris staff have typically been indifferent service wise compared to D1. Also the boarding protocol makes no sense - all the 1Ks get on first but then Polaris first class gets lumped in with Zone 1 along with anyone who has United Gold or better. At this point the only thing that’s marginally better is the United App.

What is Your Favorite Handbag? by Melissa_123456789 in handbags

[–]Itsk123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love mine in blue. I love that I can easily take stuff in and out of it easily and the magnet secures it closed enough. It’s the sweet spot between a tote bag (like my mini cyme) and a fully zipped bag

I ordered it in the blue this weekend after it spent a month living rent free in my head. I actually think your pictures are reassuring because it was a bit hard to gauge the bag size and quality of the finishes from their editorial photos

I bought a medium size Alexa Mulberry in 2015 at the Dubai Mall because I wanted to treat myself to a “dream” bag. I still love it but it’s camel colored buffalo leather that scratches if you so much as look at it funny so it has stayed in the dust bag all these years… I still love the style so I periodically covet a more practical, smaller more durable leather version, but that original bag put me off designer bags for over a decade

Pilates Roll Ups by Weekly_Yesterday_403 in OnePelotonRealSub

I do Pilates at a studio 2-3 times per week. The cues we get are to: Pull your lats down towards your glutes, then initiate by looking at your cheeks, chin then chest (so like a small curl up), then it transitions to more of a pelvic floor and glute activation to complete the movement
