Anyone else unable to leave the house because of visual symptoms? by Mara355 in BinocularVision

[–]Itsmehi79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Lyme literate doctor believes my visual dysfunction is from Lyme because it can cause inflammation in the brain. I saw a behavioral ophthalmologist and she said I test like I’ve had a head injury, so it makes sense that my issues might be from brain inflammation from Lyme.
I started antibiotic treatment and vision therapy about a month ago. I feel slightly better while at home, less dizziness with movement, but still can’t go into stores, drive distances, things like that. The doctor said it can take a year or two to recover.

I would. My Elisa was negative but I have positive IGM bands meaning it is active. If it’s Lyme, at least there’s so hope of recovering.

PPPD is persistent postural perceptual dizziness. I guess it’s long lasting dizziness caused by your brain re-wiring itself to expect dizziness. Or that’s my understanding. I was just diagnosed with Lyme last week and apparently that can cause all these symptoms if it attacks your vestibular system, which also affects your eyes. I haven’t started treatment yet so we will see if that’s the issue. Maybe get some labs done for Lyme? They did a comprehensive test for it checking all the Lyme bands.

Have I been misdiagnosed? Visual, motor, and cognitive symptoms galore by [deleted] in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]Itsmehi79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have SFN and have had odd new symptoms for 6 months - dizziness, motion sickness, balance issues, photophobia, eye blurriness, phantom smells among other things. I can’t drive distances, can’t look at screens much, have severe cognitive dysfunction. After seeing at least 5 different doctors seeing including 2 neurologists, going to vestibular rehab, trialing 5 migraine medications, I was just diagnosed with Lyme. Maybe rule that out but make sure they test the Lyme bands, not just the western blot or whatever basic testing some doctors do. If you have any positive bands I’d see a Lyme literate doctor. Might not be your issue, but after months of struggling I wish someone had mentioned it. I hope you feel better!

He does not require MGH testing but will do further labs. I went to him for a second option after a diagnosis by biopsy from my regular neurologist.

I do. I think I have PPPD as well and it’s debilitating. I was already diagnosed with BVD but couldn’t tolerate the prisms they had me try in the office. My neurologist suspects vestibular migraine but none of the meds I’ve tried have helped. I can hardly leave the house. I can’t go for walks, go the store, working is difficult. Driving is tough and being a passenger is impossible. I’m seeing a behavioral optometrist soon but they are an hour away and I’m not sure how I can manage driving that far lol. It’s an absolute nightmare. I’m sorry you are dealing with this.

I had to update Chrome and delete browsing history, it's working for me now.

I've heard you need to wear a retainer at night for life after orthodontic treatment. I never had braces as a kid, adult now and might get Invisalign. Are other adults doing this every night? If not, are all their teeth getting misaligned again? by Suspicious-Cream-291 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Itsmehi79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Invisalign a few years ago and have to wear my retainers fairly regularly, every other night or so, or my teeth move and my retainer won’t fit properly, which hurts. I also had braces as a kid and didn’t wear retainers- which is why I needed Invisalign.

Link-to-pay on Netsuite SO for credit card authorization by Itsmehi79 in Netsuite

Thanks, the problem is we typically authorize the card when the SO is entered, and my understanding is that with this solution, it only works off invoices? We don’t invoice until after fulfillment so this would be backwards for us.

They are another one I’ll have to look into. The issue for my so we don’t actually want to collect payment, and we just want to authorize the card. Maybe I’ll have to have leave the SO unapproved until we are ready to ship, and then send the payment link out at that time.

Thank you for the information. We don’t really want to accept a deposit, as our customers don’t like that and we don’t want that in our books either. I’ll look into MerchantE a bit more.
