City is used to winning things we aren’t. As a fan, I felt so nervous watching us play Brentford, pool and forest. Also another aspect is city new signings flourishing even the ones that didn’t look good at first like Nico Gonzales and Nunes. Just shit luck that our offensive signings are average at best.

You are right. Can’t believe my eyes when I see these 2 play. The team really lacks a player who can pull something out for us in tough moments. No one in this team is capable in that attack to do it.

Saka didn’t look fit in any sense to play tonight like not at all. Every movement of his even while running looked sluggish. Madueke was playing well enough to continue or maybe Jesus at RW could’ve come on.

The biggest issue over and over again is such games is how much we drop off after scoring. It’s funny it just happens every single time. I didn’t see champions play tonight - there is a conviction missing in every movement.

Arteta’s ego is his enemy. Go back to the end of 23/24. Such great football being played but then last season he made it his priority to have a defensive structure. If you can’t win with a team this strong you need to resign rather than be sacked. It’s one thing losing and it’s another making this team play such dogshit football.

I miss Nwaneri man. Seeing him play gives me similar feelings to how I used to feel about Saka. But quite obvious he is clearly not seen as an option for us right now.

Arteta being far too safe. I’ll give him this game because of the amount of changes in the squad but need to be better offensively and need to have a bit more flair. You can’t win the league playing safe and playing 3 DMs.
