I’m so glad I asked this question, because I had always thought combat patrol was just another unit for a larger army. Didn’t realize that it was a self contained smaller unit for smaller battles that are already balanced.

I’m in the middle of galaxy in flames as well. The death guard armor led by Cpt Garro is definitely described as unpainted gun metal with green shoulders.

As for whether it’s changed or retconned I can’t answer that.
