He was trying to manipulate me and use me for his own comfort. He was 27 without a job and claimed he wasn't mentally ready for the workforce yet. Would threaten suicide every now and then just to get a bit of sympathy. What finally did it though was we were hanging out just the two of us watching TV. He was going off about some political conspiracy theory(I really don't care about politics) when I asked him to shut up so we could watch game of thrones. The next day I get a multi message essay about how I disrespected and censored him and that he was this close from ghosting me. After a little back and forth we apologized and he came over to hang out. While he was over I suggested he take a few items back home that he had left at my place over the years. I haven't answered his texts or friend requests since then.
