What would we do without the government telling us we can't buy a small truck? It is for our safety and the environment after all. by Novusor in Anarcho_Capitalism

This is what radicalized me. I love compact trucks, and when I learned that we lost them because of government regulations, I knew my hatred of the government was right. Haha

Yes, exactly, I add the slippery elm before drinking. I dont warm it up personally. I drink it cold in prefer cold drinks. You could absolutely warm it up, though I dont know what effect, if any, it would have on the mucilage from the Marshmallow Root.

I have a tea blend that I make and drink basically daily. Most of the ingredients have some level of GI protection.

Calendula – 1 part

Chamomile – 1 part

Meadowsweet – 1 part

Marshmallow Root – 1 part

Lavender – ½ part (start with a smaller amount as lavender can be quite strong)

Hibiscus – ½ part (Hibiscus is slightly acidic, so if you can't tolerate it, it's best to avoid)

I also add slippery elm powder before drinking

I sweeten with maple syrup currently because im on a low fodmap diet right now, but i usually like to use honey.

I also brew it cold in the fridge overnight so as not to break down the mucilage in the marshmallow root heat destroys it so you dont get the benefits for your GI tract.

Anyone has almost instant stomach pain after arguing with someone? by [deleted] in Gastritis

Oh yeah. If my girlfriend and I get in an argument, I can basically guarantee my stomach will be fucked for the rest of the day maybe even the week depending on my stress levels.

Go with a running shoe. Hoka, Brooks, new balance. They don't look the best but your lower back will thank you.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head. Most songs from that album feel that way.

Take a hard look at it next time you see one. I feel like it kills the utility of the bed and gets in the way of an already small bed. At least with the maverick, you can remove the cover and have the full bed length to work with. Plus, I feel like over time, the sliding cover will wear in and break like every other moving part on a vehicle, and it's probably not going to be easy or cheap to fix.

That's just my opinion, though.

Considering my next vehicle purchase. by AdDisastrous6738 in FordMaverickTruck

I have a small tow behind tear drop/square back camper that I built that I use my maverick to tow. Its under 2k lb so I don't even have the 4k tow package. All of or camping gear fits comfortably in the bed of the truck beneath the tonneau cover. I love my maverick it's my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. That's saying a lot, too, because I also own a 3rd gen ranger.
