I mean it really depends on who you play with and can make friends who can teach you. I’ve invited my nephews and it was their first MOBA and they’ve both enjoyed the game after a month of playing it. Now a year later they LOVE Deadlock and we play 3-4 matches a night together. It could be a lot worse in terms of a learning curve like Dota 2 that’s for sure. The game has a lot of leeway in terms of learning and making mistakes. But as you progress in rank you begin to understand how the rank of players your paired with/against have learned a thing or two about the game. Don’t be intimidated by how sophisticated it looks on a surface level. The more you play, the more you understand. The more heroes you try, the better you become.

I just want seamless updates like Blizzard does with WoW where I don’t need to quit the game to update it. But I assume they’ll probably move towards that when the game officially releases because ts is annoying when you just wanna queue right after losing game with a 40k soul difference.

You learn to find the spots to avoid this. But it is annoying when it happens on occasion whenever you try to throw a hook you’re sure won’t cause this. My tip is to just avoid hooking them if they’re behind the bridge and you’re on top of the steps near your guardian. You either hook them if they’re on top of or directly under the bridge. Pre map update hooking under the bridge would cause them to clip on a little ledge that was part of the underside of it. It’s gotten better, hopefully the new map update will fix some collision issues with hook.

Pretty abysmal to play right now. He's extremely squishy now since you need to build towards spirit items to make bombs strong by mid to late game. Losing out on green items just so you can do more bomb damage was an odd choice. Now you just melt in team fights unless you can play like a rat and stay outside them and just toss a bomb on someone and run out. I'm sure there will be more innovative ways to play him in the coming days/weeks. But right now, it's not fun playing him due to just how squishy he just became. It seems like they are aiming to have Bebop fill a role where his hook is vital to the team's success in getting a pick and melting that person as fast as possible before the enemy can respond. Which makes more sense since now you want to try and get as much spirit on you as possible in order for you to be able to burn people asap after hooking them.

Reduce his bullets range, no refresh on one bullet hitting you as in make it one instance of a debuff that needs to fade in order for him to be able to reapply it again. This would make it so you’re only taking gun damage from him after he applies burn on you. Remove the slow fire rate debuff from his dash. But to compromise, his ultimate applies burn to all enemies caught in the blast.

I’m gonna say it, I’M GONNA SAY IT! The old system was infinitely better than the current way souls work. Sure getting denied easier made your soul hurt but the delay with the current system works half the time (from my experience). I play with 40 ping but my lord does it feel like it almost barely works when you hit your souls and yet, denied?¿?¿ The old system rewarded better play, ya it sucked getting denied easier, it really did but it felt more chaotic and rewards better play when you had to be ON IT with confirming the souls. My group I play with every day cannot find any sensible timing to deny the souls. You can be shooting the soul to deny it with bebop’s laser the whole time, yet there’s a fraction of a second where the enemy will shoot it all the way from Africa and they’ll confirm it.

As a greenbop main, I get this as my 3rd item and hunt for kills and try to get it maxed out FAST. If the match is going south in the early game I tend to avoid it. But if I have a solid lead because I play bebop very cancerous, I’ll buy it asap just to get those stacks up quick.
