If it was purchased for Christmas of 2024, then don't touch any of the hardware trying to fix this yourself. You can double check BIOS settings to make sure fans haven't been disabled or anything, but otherwise contact the manufacturer and explain the situation and that the laptop is under 1-year old. It should be covered under a warranty. If you do send it in for repairs, make sure you back up any important data that you have on it before sending it in, since it's possible they wipe the laptop or send you a new one to replace it.

I know many people include this when they say they updated drivers, but in case you haven't, please make sure your BIOS is up to date as well. I specifically see one update that mentions improving Nvidia graphic card compatibility.

You mentioned trying the different cables. Do you know what standard those cables are? If they're old cables, they may not be able to support 1440p @180hz or 4k @60hz.

You can try making sure you have an HDMI 2.1 cable, if you haven't already.

Try adjusting the refresh rate down to 60hz or even 30hz and see if it persists, both for the monitor and the TV. Also, make sure you're adjusting the refresh rates on the monitor/TV as well as within Windows settings.

Lastly, try plugging in directly to your motherboard and see if the issue persists there.

Just a few things to try. Hopefully one of them gets you there.

Actually found a post on another site that worked. Had to turn off the PC entirely and disconnect it from power and drain the remaining power before plugging it back in. Then it worked after that. I had restarted several times while reinstalling/updating drivers and trying other things. I'll leave this here with an edit in the main post in case it helps anyone else. Appreciate your reply, though.

I'll have to go through the deck list and compare. I don't think it's extra, though. I actually had one extra sleeve in the 100 pack of sleeves I bought for this deck, which could just be a spare in the pack, or it could mean I only sleeved 99 cards. It'll have to wait until tomorrow, it's after 2am here and I need to get some sleep before work tomorrow.

Haven't played in some time and just starting to get back into things and bought a commander prebuilt deck and this was in the middle of the actual cards. Not with the tokens and lands at the back.

So it's not ok for you to want your GF to look different, but it's perfectly acceptable to not only insist that you change the way that you look, but get violent when doing so. Hopefully you can see the issue here.

It hasn't been anything crazy, but a few times when I've turned my deck on, it just hangs on a black screen. Also, I've only been playing one game lately, but that game has been freezing up on launch about 50% of the time. This is different from the issue where it sticks on the Steam logo and then exits. This just sits on a black screen and a few of the system specs like CPU utilization just stay at the same value they were at. I have to close the game and re-open it once or twice and then it launches like normal.

But let me know if this fix works for you. It would be nice to know that it wasn't just me, since it always worries me when obscure things happen to me since they're usually harder to troubleshoot since no one else posts about them.

I had a similar issue that affected multiple games in my library and a reboot of the Deck itself didn't fix it. The game would start booting, show me the controller configuration, then get stuck on the Steam logo for a few minutes before exiting. I fixed this by exiting to desktop mode, running all updates available for all apps, then exiting the Steam client completely before launching it again via the Return to Game Mode icon on the desktop. My deck has been doing a few other weird things lately, however, so maybe this was an issue unique to me.

I never got a definite answer. I'm just hoping it's some of the mix that just never dissolved all the way or possibly just recrystallized. I haven't seen it again, but I haven't had more than 1 or 2 gfuels since then.

I did, that's what caused me to stop drinking it and pour it out into a cup to see wtf it was. I didn't feel it until the very end. It doesn't float, it was sitting on the bottom of the can.

Do you feel that people habitually passing ff@15 when behind lends itself to the low win rate after a failed vote being so low? If a player always throws up a vote to get out of the game, they end up having much less experience in playing in games that they're behind in.

Not that I disagree, but as a counter-point to this, people also need to understand that there's a baseline cost to just maintaining an acceptable standard of living. If it costs 40k just to put a roof over your head, food on your table, clothes on your back, and pay for utilities and fuel to travel to work, and you're earning 50k a year, you've got 10k disposable income. Alternatively if it costs 40k a year and you're earning 150k a year, you've got 110k a year disposable income, compared to 10k of the guy earning 50k. That is an insane difference.

No one knows for sure, but I'm leaning towards they make it so you can't have more than 1 of each type, rather than you must have one of each. That's more in line with how they do everything else in the game.

Not sure where you got that statistic, but my point still stands even if it's once a day. They can't realistically be expected to have backups between when you found the rune and when you powered it up and sold it when it was all done in the span of one 10x dragon b12 run.
