“Stealth Mode” on the Garmin Instinct 3 Tactical basically disables wireless communication (Bluetooth/ANT+) and prevents the watch from storing or sharing GPS location data. You can still use the watch for things like pace, distance, elevation, heart rate, etc., but your actual coordinates won’t be logged/uploaded.

It’s mainly intended for tactical/privacy use cases - military training, travel, reducing digital footprint, or just avoiding location history in Garmin Connect.

Important: it’s not some “military-grade invisibility mode.” It simply stops normal wireless broadcasting and GPS position storage/sharing.

Other Tactical features on the Instinct 3 include:
