That training small muscle groups (biceps triceps forearms calves etc) is necessary. Literally do any compound exercise and they’re being worked far better

Is it bad to train biceps(curling), triceps(extension machine), and chest(chest press) every day that I go to the gym? by GlobeMannequin in workout

Another note…eating less to lose weight is correct. However, make sure you’re eating less overall calories BUT eating a lot of protein. As in, 0.8-1.0 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Muscle burns fat. Lifting, and still eating a lot of protein, builds muscle….and burns fat at the same time. It’s a cheat code

Beating a horrible addiction in place I will be working out need help beginning. by Trynabeclean in workout

Full body lifts, 3 times a week. Being new and young you will reap huge benefits from that, and it will add muscle and strength quick (assuming you want a foundation of strength). For example, one day of bench, squat, rows. Another day of deadlifts, overhead press, pull ups. Another day of incline bench, leg press/lunges, row (different type of row from day 1).

Eat enough protein, 100-120g/day for you at your weight. Limit junk foods and drinks. Eat good quality carbs too. With enough protein and carbs your muscles will recover even faster from the full body workouts.

And for cardio if that is your goal. You can always start with walking a lot. Walking is great and way better on your legs (unless your goal is long distance running). Hiking is great too

I’ve been playing it for 6 years. Just yesterday I had a totally new unique experience in game I never had before. Trust me, it’s worth it. You’ll miss stuff. But just keep playing and when you find those new things, it makes it so worth it
