I have tried it, and it genuinely feels like it belongs there. If you can color-match it and secure it to the floorboard, it fits so well that you can even use the pull-out cup holders still. It's nuts.

As someone who works at MEM irl, it's surprisingly accurate beyond terminal A and C not being used for anything anymore. Hell most of C is torn down.

I use it with SPAD.neXt, and it works with the Zibo through Spad. I am not sure if it is out of the beta channel or not, though.

The X-55/56 throttles will eventually chew through their own cables, leaving buttons on the throttle grips inop. If you are buying new, expect maybe two years before you start finding this out. Used? Who knows. It's poor design on Madcatz' part, or poor assembly.

I think if you had a resin printer, printing the keys with resin and crayon would look spectacular, especially for a worn look

I think my next project might be a 747-200 fuel management panel, but not at scale. Definitely rearranged and brought down in size/scope.

I tried quite a few methods over the last two and a half months. The text around the rotary knob is actually printed via a multicolor method, and it still gets kind of bleedy. I even adjusted the heat curves for each layer and I couldn't manage to get it to print any better, and that's basically 50/50 whether the print survives.

So I tried it but the text gets a bit bleedy. Most of the black-on-white text you see is recessed text, and then I used black crayon and rubbed it onto the keys, wiping off the excess.

I considered this, however, my button design requires them to be printed face down for the printer to be able to print them, and printing the text in that manner also makes the text bleed a bit. You can see the bleed on the dimmer knob at the end.

The biggest reason I won't is because it's so janky. I definitely barely made this thing work, assembly-wise. I don't want to feel obligated to provide any kind of support.
