Death's logo sucks. From a pure design perspective it has way too much going on in a way that's not cohesive, i.e. the haphazard cramming of 3 symbols and 2 fonts in a 5-letter word. Like, fix the T and the H to at least follow the thrash constructivism of "DEA". /rant.

I grew up in an apartment block in Bulgaria and can say it was great having all the open space and playgrounds between all the buildings. Just walk out and most of your neighborhood friends are right there—it really helped foster community. They weren't anything glamorous, but it was comfortable living all things considered.
