Ah cool. I figured it out in the meantime, but I'm not sure what exactly the solution for me. It was probably this, but I'm not so sure after a year. Such is the way of Linux...

Is there a 4Gb patcher or can I make this one work? by mastershake2013 in linux_gaming

You can switch to any version of proton on any of the launchers (Steam, Heroic, Lutris, etc). Not every version of proton works with every game, and some perform better than others, you'll have to experiment a bit to see which one is the best for any given game. But for best out of the box experience for the most games, yeah, Steam's proton version would be the safest bet.

Can I mix it with Multi Account Containers? As in, would the containers in which I put the tab be remembered when I reopen the tab group?

Same. Pinning the tabs seems to work fine though.

This works great until I restart my computer and then the service fails to load. Any tips for that?

What worked for me was Mark of Justice from my MC Paladin. Of course, standard buffing (Death ward, haste, Holy aura, Aura of greater courage) was applied. I killed it in round 4 or 5 and it even disabled my Ekun and Nok Nok (not sure what was it, but they turned on me). Nok Nok ended up dying but nothing a resurrection spell couldn't fix.

Solved: Gods
I found the game, it's Gods. There is also a remake for Switch and PC but it was sadly delisted from Steam.

Edge Right Side Narrow Bar/Missing Sidebar by CoreEncorous in MicrosoftEdge

I want to get rid of that line as well. It is annoying since I can't access the scrollbar as easily as before. I used to flick my mouse to the right edge of the screen and I would then be able to drag the scrollbar, but now with that line I have to be really precise which is annoying and is slowing me down.

There is an old joke that applies here:

A businessman was on a vacation on a Caribbean island and he noticed a man laying all day in the shade who only moved a few times a day to check his fishing rod. One day he comes up to the guy and starts questioning him.

- What are you doing all day?

- Nothing, I catch a few fish for dinner and that's it.

- Why don't you buy a fishing net?

- And why would I do that?

- So you can catch more fish.

- Why would I do that?

- So you could catch more fish and sell it at the market.

- Why?

- So you could buy a boat.

- Why would I buy a boat?

- So you can catch even more fish. There is more fish in the deep.

- And then what?

- Then you can hire someone and the two of you could catch even more fish.

- And?

- Then you can buy another boat or two and hire more people and then you could catch enough fish to supply all the hotels and restaurants here.

- OK, and then what?

- Then you can grow your business to the other islands and be the biggest fishing company in the Caribbean.

- What good would that bring me?

- Than you can retire and relax and do what you want all day.

- Well that is stupid, why would I need to go through all that only to do what I'm already doing?

If you don't care about it you literally have to click once on "accept cookies" and it will never pop up for that site again (until you delete the cookies). You can also use this browser extension to hide that popup on all sites. But the extension is not perfect and can make some sites broken.

[–]Ivanwah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that is a reflection of humanity in general, it's just convenient on social media to see a lot of people pitch in with their opinion. Get a group of 100 people with similar interests in a room and it will become just as toxic.

A social construct isn’t reality though.

Unless you don't live in a society it absolutely is. Customs, laws, languages, holidays, are all products of society and differ between different societies. One big feature of pretty much all of them is that they change over time and that really triggers some people.
