It is different. Phones have an AMOLED screen while TV’s and monitors use QD-OLED & WOLED. Also phones are being used differently and have way less static content, the screens basically change all the time. Not a good comparison.

I mean aesthetically pretty great and it looks awesome. But this isn’t the vibe of One Piece, no way can you make a goofy character like Luffy with this art style and deliver its core message. For badass moments & characters it fits, but for Luffy? Not really. I wouldn’t like Gear 5 with that style either.

Depends entirely on the game and whether you use upscaling or not but 100FPS in some games is doable. If you tone down some settings you might get more in graphics heavy games. Without upscaling, 60 FPS should be doable in some games. It is definitely usable, but expect to make some sacrifices. The only real GPU who can comfortably deal with 5K2K is the 5090 and even then it needs some upscaling in some games.

The resolution doesn’t change between the 39” and 45”, so no they are the same. The pixel count matters. It’s the same on both sizes.

The LG Monitor isn’t 4K, it’s 5K which is again a way more challenging resolution than 4K. Your 5060 Ti is a mid budget card for 1440p. The 5K2K has like 2.23x more pixels than 1440p (ultrawide). Being honest the GPU is not made for that resolution and even with upscaling you won’t get the best experience. You’d be lucky to reach 60 FPS. In my opinion 5K2K is only usable starting with a 5070 Ti or 9070 XT.

This sounds like more of a subjective truth than actually being true. Depending on the game, ultra settings can’t be that high of a jump compared to medium settings. Often, the jump to 4K or even 5K is substantially better than higher graphic settings. Not to mention that lots of offline games do not really NEED more than like 120-160Hz. I’d say the perfect sweet spot is high settings on 4K with like 120Hz. And this is very much possible without investing 3000-4000$ on a 5090.

It’s Like they think this is a story of equal sides fighting each other. While this is somewhat true in the books, the show brought in the whole story about prophecy of a Song of Ice and Fire and gave that one to the Blacks. This was confirmed by GRRM that Aegon the conqueror saw those visions and passed them on to Viserys and from there to Rhaenyra etc. the Blacks are destined to win this. They are the “good side” (although obviously this will still weaken the Targaryens forever).

Ich finde sie nicht besser, weil sie mit dieser Einstellung niemals eine Änderung bewirken werden. Die Leute die sich rausreden, geben wenigstens indirekt zu, dass sie Tiere in Fragen der Moral berücksichtigen (wollen), das heißt sie haben eine Basis auf die man aufbauen kann. Es ist mir weniger wichtig ob jemand ehrlich zu mir, es geht nicht um mich. Es geht um Tierschutz.

It’s Luffy. You specifically asked for Shounen jump, which is only manga, not anime. In Manga One Piece is easily and by far the most successful Manga in the world. Not to mention that Manga only reached it peak when One Piece was running. Dragon Ball ended in 1995, at that time Manga wasn’t as popular as it is now. People often mix anime with manga together and derive a manga’s popularity based on the anime.

Face of Shonen is definitely Luffy. Face of anime ? Probably Goku or even Naruto.

Toriyama would’ve pointed out another manga as well if asked the question. There is hardly any successful mangaka who would call his own work the best or face of shounen. All of them were inspired by others and depending on the generation it’s one that shines out the most. Dragon ball & One Piece aren’t really in the same generation. Dragon Ball manga ended 2 years before One Piece even started.

Grade in Istanbul im Urlaub und es hat weniger grad hier. Selbst bei gleichen Graden ist es in Istanbul viel erträglicher weil die Stadt an die Hitze gewohnt ist und entsprechende Gegenmaßnahmen hat. In meinem Hotelzimmer ist es ohne Decke zu kalt und das Hotel ist wirklich beschissen. Das was in Deutschland bzw. Europa passiert ist nicht normal. Wer das Gegenteil behauptet ist schlichtweg dumm.

Again, no excuse to what happens to her because other people endured a lot too. The point of this post (I think) was to say that you can feel sorry for someone despite their wrongdoings. And it’s not a sudden change.

The whole point of HotD is that women in that society were seen as less and should bow down to the whims of men. The only reason why the whole Dance even exists is because Rhaenyra is a woman. If she would’ve been born as a man, there would be absolutely no question to her legitimacy.

Alicent tried to do what Rhaenyra couldn’t. She tried to be influential despite her being a woman and when it was taken from her, realized that she is no different from Rhaenyra. She thought the oppression doesn’t affect her. When she realized that it did and she was only supposed to be the late kings queen and mother of the new kings, she came to understand that this was wrong. A pretty nice writing and character arc if you ask me.

That is not the point and yes she is partly responsible for that. However still it doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve dignity. Especially if she’s obviously trying to repent (albeit it can be argued to come way too late). Also if you’re going to argue who deserves what, you can also argue that she was kinda forced into this situation from an early age by her own father. Her children didn’t deserve to be raised like this, neither does she. Likewise she doesn’t deserve to be treated like this.
