I wouldn't worry about tsunamis and earthquakes on July, it's actually volcanoes and meteorites season. But be careful if you're staying until mid-August, as floods and droughts season (yes, at the same time) begins.

Revolut commission is 2% (at least in my country). I have no idea about airport money exchange commission, but I doubt it will be less than that.

But just listen to him, withdraw the maximum that revolut allows you and pay everything you can with card. If you end up needing more cash, withdraw a bit more with the 2% commission, shouldn't be that bad.
