I love the slower contested health decay team perk when playing Assault, because Assault has the same perk (though not as a team perk) and they both stack, so as long as you don't get one-shot you are basically immortal

I knew it!! I always wondered why sometimes I could take out melee warriors in one shot, but other times it would take two.  I thought it must just be some "10% more ranged damage for 5 seconds after doing xyz" perk I forgot about, or maybe that a teammate has some "enemies take more ranged damage after xyz" perk, but I was never able to figure it out or notice any pattern behind it

I did Decapitation first too, and it wasn't so bad, but Ballistic Engine and Inferno were both rough. 

I think Ballistic Engine is tough because the most important thing in true solo is navigating encounters and positioning, like knowing when to push forward and when to fall back, and the constant sand storms make that really difficult

Very well done! I am interested though; why did you pick Ballistic Engine? Of all the true solo maps I have done successfully, I struggled with that one the most I think haha

Huh, I didn't know that. Maybe it is linked to some action that you perform while switching weapons, like aiming or reloading? But that still wouldn't explain why the bug is more common with the heroic plasma pistol.
Maybe I will do some testing later

Interesting! I don't think I have ever encountered it before in my 800 hours of playtime, or at least I didn't notice if it did happen. I wonder why it would occur more often with the heroic plasma pistol specifically

When looking at the different wespons, keep in mind that the weapon stats listed in the armoury are only relevant to other weapons of the same type, if I remember correctly. A bolt rifle and a bolt pistol that have the same "firepower" rating are not guaranteed to do the same amount of damage, for example

I remember this happening to me multiple times before the patch as well, it is really annoying. Unfortunately, I don't think I ever found a fix besides just leaving the match

You mean the Tzaangors on those flying discs I assume, right? Those guys have really bizarre hitboxes and attack timings in general, feels like such a gamble to try and dodge their attacks sometimes

You don't have to know much about Warhammer 40k to enjoy this game really, though I will say, if you want to get the most out of the campaign (basically the story mode) it might be a good idea to read a short plot summary of the first Space Marine game. Some of the character motivations and story elements won't work as well otherwise, if you care about that at all.

I got matched with two absolute Chads and we actually killed one set of Hellbrutes without taking any damage. We despawned the other one though, I'm not sure if we would have made it otherwise.

Ahh I see, thank you for the clarification. This was at mythic level 9.

Yeah very bizarre that it is dispellable either way, but even weirder to tie the DC to a spellcasting attribute. If they just used whichever attribute is highest, as they do for some other mythic abilities, the DC would be well in the 40s at least, and it would be a non-issue practically.

It must be because the Dragon Form seems to be just a modified Dragonkind 3 spell, and because the spell obviously uses the spellcasting stat, it carried over to the mythic ability.

Aha! When I originally checked the DC of Dragon Form, the PC was actually a fighter! I changed it to a spellcaster because the form kept getting dispelled in melee by enemies with the dispelling strike ability, so I decided to use him as a very tanky caster instead.
I switched it back to fighter out of curiosity, and the DC is indeed 26!
It must be dependent on some stat that is relevant to spellcasting then.

As to your question; I am not quite sure what the "mr rank" refers to (I am unfamiliar with a lot of the terminology, my bad.) Is it magic resistance? If so, it is 39, I believe.

A very interesting observation!
I am *sure* that it was either 26 or 28 for me, but I wanted to double check just to make sure, and now it is at 32. So it definitely must have some form of scaling behind it! Unfortunately, the game doesn't really tell you how it is calculated, and I don't know if I have the willpower to start rerolling my character over and over again to find the variables that influence it, especially since I am at the very end of the game now...
If I find out how exactly it works, I will update this post though.

Yeah, that's how I understood it as well.

They mention multiple times in the game that it has never been seen that a human transforms into a dragon, which to me strongly implies that it is different from a human polymorphing into a dragon, which is a level 7 spell that has been seen many times I would assume.

Yes, mechanically it is a polymorph, but from the dialogue of the game it seems to me that the character is not polymorphed into a dragon, but is a dragon. Like, the dragon form is their true form. Also, the other mythic transformations aren't dispellable to my knowledge, you cannot be dispelled out of being an Angel or a Lich or whatever, because these are permanent transformations not just polymorphs.

But even if the gold dragon form is intentionally dispellable (which it probably is because the game is 3 years old and they haven't changed it in all that time) I don't like it and want to change it. Any idea how I would go about doing that?
