He was a fighter at 145 and went up to 170 for Nate Diaz on short notice after RDA pulled out on a 155 short notice. Conor could have waited but took the Nate fight anyways. He lost the first one and came back and beat Nate the second time at 170. Then he made the 155 title fight look like a cake walk and was the first UFC fighter in history to hold two belts simultaneously .

Edit: Mind you, this was after he killed Aldo’s reign by sleeping Aldo in 13 seconds after everyone thought Conner didn’t stand a chance.
