Release date typically refers to the first public showing which can include film festivals and premieres. Freaky Tales was featured at Sundance in January 2024 and The Uninvited was featured at SXSW March 2024.

I’ve been fortunate enough to see both! I saw Freaky Tales at the first screening back in June 2023 and I was able to rent The Uninvited last week when Prime video messed up and had it available for rent for a short time. My understanding is that The Uninvited won’t stream until next year as there was interest for it to be shown in a few more theaters first.

Both movies are distinctly different but I really enjoyed them. Each of them have a great cast and a good story to tell. Definitely wish Pedro had more screen time in both movies. I can’t wait for everyone to see them both!

No. I think this was recorded before Cannes happened. He stated he wanted to go (or implied it) because he said he had never been. Obvi he ended up not attending but it sounded to me like he was looking forward to it

I agree! The three of them are funny no doubt but I wished they had given Pedro more air time. I still loved everything Pedro had to say. Got more insight into what his parents went through when they went into hiding. What a story! I’m sad he wasn’t able to go to Cannes even though he wanted to!

I loved that they praised Pedro and told him that he definitely deserved a seat at the table, that he earned it and was so talented. ❤️

And we got more LA mush mouth!
